Centrical Achieves ISO/IEC 42001 Certification for Responsible AI Governance

ISO/IEC 42001 is the international standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems, reinforcing how Centrical governs AI across the hybrid frontline.

NEW YORK, Sep. 23, 2026 – Centrical, the Workforce Orchestration System for the hybrid frontline, today announced it has achieved ISO/IEC 42001 certification, the international standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems (AIMS). The certification verifies that Centrical develops and operates AI under a structured framework for risk management, security, transparency, and continuous improvement.

“Since day one, compliance has been a core part of Centrical’s DNA, and as companies shift from managing a purely human workforce to managing a hybrid one where people and AI agents work side by side, it matters more than ever,” said Doron Neumann, Chief Technology Officer at Centrical. “Earning ISO/IEC 42001 is how we hold ourselves to a high standard for AI. For us, compliance has always meant operating responsibly and being able to demonstrate that commitment to our customers. This certification validates our approach.”

ISO/IEC 42001 is the first international standard dedicated to how organizations govern artificial intelligence. It sets requirements for managing AI risk, oversight, and accountability across the full lifecycle of an AI system, giving enterprise buyers an independent benchmark for judging whether a vendor operates AI responsibly.

The new certification joins Centrical’s existing compliance program, which includes ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 for information security and privacy, SOC 2 Type II for security controls, and GDPR for data protection. ISO/IEC 42001 extends that discipline to the AI now embedded across its Orchestration System.

Achieving the certification required Centrical to document and audit its AI practices end to end. It reflects concrete controls already in place: audit trails on AI actions, guardrails that keep customer data out of model training, and a human-in-the-loop design that keeps people in control of the decisions and judgment that matter.

The certification comes weeks before The Big Game, Centrical’s flagship event, on October 15 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, where the company will unveil its latest innovation in workforce orchestration. The event will be held in person and broadcast to a global audience. Details and registration are available at https://centrical.com/events/big-game/.
